After long time, again I wanted to write something on this blog.. and Its about Religion..
You must have guessed it, That's right, its because of the "PK" movie .
Yesterday I watched the so called "Super Hit" Movie with my frnds just because ppl are saying the story line of movie is very good, and also because of protests of some ppl( from many religions) about the movie.
After watching the Movie , I realized why people are pretty much exited about it.
Here is my Perspective -
The questions asked the movie by PK about this ppl do to reach GOD, are the ones which most of the viewers have, yet they follow their religion in the way it is in the society.
So people are very much exited and happy when seeing some one asking all these questions which were in their mind from years. Yet don't find the answers for them. Thus its a Hit.
Showing how people are using the name of GOD for doing business using religion and tapping money from the innocent people etc is okay, but bad thing is it confused people about Religion and God.
There are many fake Babas and Swamijis who exploit the word GOD and religion .That part of the movie is good. But this is happening only because people are least bothered about the real essence of Religion.
Also, There are many Saints and Swamijis who are protecting the religion and wanted to spread that real essence of Religion.
Well, This is the main reason why I wanted to write something on this.
My appeal to everyone is to find the answers for every question that you get about religion and you will realize the presence of GOD when you get the answers.
As I belong to a Hindu Community I could tell about those examples, but I feel the essence of every religion is same " To do Good and to be good"
Because of our modern day of life, No time, ppl are least bother abt all these,
Nowadays, it is like -
Go to temple , Ask GOD, Your work will be done.
If done {
Pay to GOD.
else
Pray again for another work.
This is not the whole of religion, If some movie shows this as religion and say its all rubbish why don't you ask to yourself "Is it??" Instead of just blindly agreeing with somebody's point of view.
"GOD is Omnipresent(Be everywhere)" - This is what any religion say ( esp in Hindism, Infact, The Word Vishnu is the sanskrit meaning of "Omnipresent"
Let me tell you a small incident which happened when I was a child -
As children we hear many thing like "GOD is every where, ask GOD for something he will give."
One day ,I asked my Mother,
Amma, If GOD exist everywhere, he exist in this wall too?? why do we go to temple to pray him ,instead of praying this wall?? ( as a child, we ask what comes into our mind)
My Mother, instead of getting frustrated, she replied-
Yes, you are Right, but you tend to see the wall more than GOD in it, You cannot concentrate on GOD nor remember your interaction with GOD. We go to temple where we have a Idol of GOD, who look so nice that you can concentrate more easily. So we go to temple
May be I was not fully convinced at that time, but that was a valid point for my Small Logical brain at that moment, But later as I grow up , I started realizing the meaning,
If we see a Photo of our beloved one's, we smile at it, But that person is not there near you in real, yet subconsciously you communicate with that person, This is exactly the same.
Religion teaches how to Live -
If you read about Lord Shiva- You will know how to conquer your fear and bad things.
If you read Ramayana- It Teaches you how to Live, You'll get inspired by the living of Lord Rama
If your read Bhagavat Gita, It tell you How to Live a stress-less life, how to think.
etc etc These are what include The Religion.
Religion is something that helps you to live Happily, despite of your little knowledge you gain from your formal education.
when someone pray to GOD, The stress levels of that person drastically decrease, thus help him in doing his work perfectly, thus getting it done.
I have written this not to convince anyone, I just want to say don't live like a Robot programmed for certain tasks in life.
Be a Child..
Question Things, get answers..
"Live the life you want to live.. and not the one which the society wants you to Live"
